White embers lead the way to undiscovered planes
Cloaked in the shade of the familiar

With searing pain brings endless loss
The compass lies and the map is long gone

There is no path to find the way
Am I alone in this place?

Where there once was an orchard of comfort
There’s naught for me now
With nowhere left to hide my shame for the life that I’ve lost

My sun & moon have given way unto strange crimson skies
But I can’t see where this happiness lies
Fate stole the air
Taking from me
All that I envisioned life were to be

Embrace the dissolve into rebirth

Where there once was an orchard of comfort
There’s naught for me now
With nowhere left to hide my shame for the life that I’ve lost

Free from shallow hearts & empty minds
My soul departs into the sea of this savage unknown
Free for a while
Beyond the tide of where I had once stood
Time shields my eyes

To the darkness

The prison was a chrysalis
